I have really gotten into photography in the last six months. When I was in India I was gutted that I didn't have a more capable camera to take better photos of some of the amazing places that I saw. This combined with the fact that I can take up to, and more than, a year to complete a 'traditional art' piece made me go out and buy a DSLR. (I still need to finish my friends wedding present!) Since then I have discovered HDR photography and am in the process of experimenting with this. For those of you interested this is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal

I have been working on a piece for my friends wedding present. i started it before he was married but as yet have not finished it. It was started in November last year. On its way! Recently I bought a new camera and carry it with me when I'm out places I haven't been before. I was curious to see how my traditional art would translate to photography. the results are in my gallery ;)

I found some old pictures i did between 5 and 8 years ago. I thought they would make an interesting addition to my gallery as you can see how my style has developed. Although they are not in any particular order you should be able to spot the older ones (unless i have, of course, not improved at all lol) Since discovering this site i have spent days looking at other peoples work and finding much of it inspirational. I am surprised at the interest in my own work and quite touched...
